Brandon Morrow is on a Toronto Blue Jays rehab assignment with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Jays’ Double-A affiliate. He makes his second Double-A start tonight (8/14) as the Fishers take on the Binghamton Mets.

Morrow, 28, pitched in 12 Blue Jays games this season, before he suffered a strained left oblique. Morrow has been  one of the top strikeout pitchers since joining the Jays in 2010. He pitched three innings in both of his rehab starts with Single-A Dunedin.
Morrow threw against the Erie SeaWolves last Wednesday, beating them 8-3. He tossed five innings, gave up two solo homers, and threw only 51 pitches. He struck out two batters.
Brandon has proved himself a gem to the Jays organization, as he is tied with teammate Felix Hernandez for most shutouts in the 2012 season with three.
The Fisher Cats open up a three game series tonight against the Binghamton Mets at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium
